In addition, the Guardian Council’s spokesperson said on a news show tonight that Mousavi’s letter of protest is too general, and if the Guardian Council does not find fraud in the election process, then based on section 3, article 80 of the election law, Mousavi could be sentenced to 3 years in jail for “Efteraa” (libel).
Amazing. Even before the investigation begins, the threats are already starting.

Kasab Warned By The Judge For Misbehaviour

Kasab, the devilish murderer gunman who mercilessly mowed down many in the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack apparently takes himself to be a guest in India. It may be really not very surprising as only a man as thick as he could ever become such a gruesome killer as he proved to be.
Zeenews reports that Special Judge M L Tahaliyani, hearing the 26/11 terror attack case, today had to admonish the Pakistani gunman for misbehaving with jail officials and warned him to conduct himself properly or else face harsh action.
“As soon as Kasab, prime accused in this case, came to the court, the judge, apparently angry over his conduct, asked him why he had misbehaved with jail officials.
Kasab replied, “talashi ke dauran woh batamazi kar rahe the and mujhe gussa aya” (during search they were being rude so I was angry).
“Of course, I will talk to jail officials but henceforth I should not receive any complaint against you,” the judge told Kasab while asking him to sit in the dock.
“Wahan hala gula karna thik nahin hai” (It is not proper to misbehave in jail), Judge Tahaliyani said.
The Judge then told Kasab’s lawyer Abbas Kazmi, “I have heard of his misbehaviour which is very disturbing. I will verify what he said but this should not happen again”.
Kasab’s lawyer assured the court that he would talk to the accused and ensure that he behave properly in future.
Yesterday, Kasab had thrown tantrums by telling policemen in the court that time was up for him to perform Namaz. The judge then asked him to sit quiet in the dock and hear the proceedings.”
Taliban Resorting To Regular Suicide Bombing In Pakistan

A suicide bombing at a rescue centre in Islamabad killed and injured several rescue workers
Suicide bombing is taking place in Pakistan with sickening regularity.
Yesterday,Sunday,June 7, it was a soft target of Islamabad’s Rescue 15 building, where a suicide bomber climbed the compound wall and exploded himself killing and injuring rescue workers. It seems that Taliban is targeting mostly soft-security centers. Nothing much was left standing at the rescue center.
Only the previous day, Taliban had carried out an explosion on an army convoy escorting prisoners into the North West Frontier Province‘s main city of Peshawar.
Meanwhile, the army says it has Mullah Fazlulla, the local Taliban leader is in its sight and it is closing in on him.

Obama’s Options In Pakistan

In 2007, a Guantánamo military commission reviewed prisoner No. 008, also known as Abdullah Gulam Rasoul, a designated enemy combatant, who stated at the review that he had “never been America’s enemy and I never intend to be.” and transferred him to Afghanistan’s government, which set him free.
This spring, under the name Mullah Abdullah Zakir, he has resurfaced as one of the most vicious and effective Taliban commanders in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand Province, where thousands of recently deployed U.S. troops are now arriving to join the battle.
As a parable of the United States and its enemies in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Rasoul’s case has a familiar, circular quality. The miscalculations across five Administrations are by now generally understood: near-unequivocal support for anti-American militias during the nineteen-eighties; averted eyes as Pakistan pursued its covert nuclear ambitions; the abandonment of Afghanistan after the Soviet withdrawal; the failure to recognize the menace of Al Qaeda during the nineteen-nineties; erratic investments in Pakistan’s democracy, economy, and civil society; and, most recently, a war in Afghanistan after 9/11 which did not defeat Al Qaeda or the Taliban but chased them into Pakistan, where they regrouped and have proceeded to destabilize a country now endowed with atomic bombs.

Google Risks Muslim Backlash
March 29, 2008 at 8:48 pm | Posted in Business, Lifescape, Muslims, People, Reactions | Leave a commentGoogle Risks Muslim Backlash By Hosting Fitna
Google is currently hosting controversial film about Islam Fitma.
The film has made tech headlines after Network Solutions suspended
the site the film was to debut on, then Live Leak was forced to pull it
following serious threats against the company from Muslims unhappy with
the film. Live Leak’s explanation video above.
The film, ripped from Live Leak, is now available on Google Video here in full, and can also be found on YouTube. Warning on the film: there are graphic scenes in it.
What Google does now will be an interesting test for a company that
claims “do no evil” as its company mantra. The video is hosted in the
US, and we presume with part or full support of the creators of the
film negating any copyright considerations, so ultimately it will be up
to Google to decide between free speech and global jihad.
