JACKSON TOWNSHIP, OH – Jackson Township resident Christy Harp shows off her world-record 1,725-pound Atlantic giant pumpkin. Harp took first place at the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers annual weigh-off Saturday in Canfield. She won $2,500 and could claim the world title. Contest organizers say the entry topped the 1,689-pound record-holder grown in 2007. AP Photo, The Canton Repository, Scott Heckel.

  1. Several articles on this say that the seeds from this pumpkin will soon be dried and available to anyone who asks, however, nothing says where to ask or gives out contact information. What is the contact information for Christy Harp and her husband. I would be willing to pay money for some of these seeds!
